Are there hidden costs or surprise fees?
No. The program price is closed and stated in writing before you sign. The only variables we flag from the beginning are optional add-ons, such as an insurance plan for your baby’s first months or the transportation fee in the Shipping program. Everything else, including NIPT and a surrogate change if a medical reason requires it, is already covered.
How are payments scheduled?
Payments are staged and deposited into a bank escrow administered by a regulated banking institution. Funds are released only as each milestone is reached, so you always know how much has been used and what it paid for. The preparation period begins once the escrow receives the first payment.
What happens to my money if pregnancy is not achieved?
Every program includes up to 3 transfers. If PGT-A was not performed and no embryo reached the blastocyst stage, we provide another egg set at no additional cost, and if a medical reason requires changing surrogates, we can do it. Because funds sit in escrow and are released by milestone, unused money is never at risk.
Does the price include the egg donor?
Yes. Programs include egg sets from BlueDonors, the European egg bank Ingenes partners with. You select 3 profiles from the catalog, choosing donors with eggs available right away or donors awaiting retrieval. Star Surrogacy Plus includes two sets and PGT-A on the embryos.
Does the cost include travel and accommodation?
Flights and lodging are not part of the program price, since they depend on your country of origin and how long you choose to stay. We do coordinate the logistics, tell you exactly when you need to be in Mexico, and there are only two required trips: signing the agreements and the birth of your baby.
How does the cost compare with adoption or other destinations?
Mexico sits well below the United States (USD 150,000 to more than 200,000) and Canada, where only altruistic surrogacy is allowed, surrogates are scarce and a starting budget of CAD 80,000 is recommended.
